Women in bookstore

The Friends of the Cambria Library collects new and gently used books, puzzles, CD/mp3 Audio Books, DVDs/Blu-Ray, and current magazines and offers them for sale in the bookstore located inside of the Cambria Library. All proceeds earned from sales go directly to the Cambria Library.

In the bookstore, you will find a wide array of both current and classic novels, a solid collection of non-fiction books covering contemporary topics, history, military, biographies, the sciences and more. We often have a good collection of books on gardening, crafts, art, design, music, travel, religion, animals, nature, health, and wellness.

Our collections change regularly, and we often have new items out on the shelves daily. Most of our inventory is priced between $1.00 and $5.00. In addition to lots of books, we have gently used DVDs, music CDs, puzzles, and audiobooks.

Bookshelves with books

Surprises abound! Often, we’ll receive donations of what we call our specialty books or collections. We never know in advance what we’ll have to offer! Look for these treasures displayed on the Specialty Table and in various places throughout the bookstore. Often these are priced between $10.00 – $100.00 and lower than what you will find on eBay and Amazon.

Oh, and our bookstore is child-friendly! The wide selection and low prices make it a unique and fascinating family destination!

Donations of new and gently used items are happily accepted!

If you have a small donation of twenty or fewer items, please drop them off in the FOCL Bookstore located inside of the Cambria Library during business hours. For large donations (more than twenty items), please contact the Bookstore Manager by email to schedule a time to drop-off the items. If you have a collection of books you would like to donate, we may be able to schedule a time for an FOCL volunteer to pick them up at your home.

All donated items must be in good condition, clean and free from mold and damage. If you have questions about donations or would like to schedule a time to donate items, please email the Bookstore Manager at friendsofthecambrialibrary@gmail.com. Donations are tax-deductible.

Please contact Friends of the Cambria Library if you have questions about leaving a legacy. Anything else? Inquire at the Cambria Library!
